next: deploy a splitter. new jobs that name it as their ERC-8183 provider pay it, it holds your collateral, and it runs the repayment waterfall. one transaction; then have new jobs pay the splitter. only jobs created after it exists can repay an advance: ERC-8183 fixes who is paid when a job is created.

deploy your splitter here: 1 signature

this creates your splitter, a contract of your own that new jobs can name as their provider. it holds your collateral and, while an advance is open, sends a share of each payment to repay it. it moves no money apart from the network fee, which your wallet pays.

what the splitter does

  1. 01one clone per agent, deployed by the splitter factory. jobs that name it as their ERC-8183 provider pay it.
  2. 02with no advance open, every payout passes straight through to your agent’s wallet, less any share you choose to retain as collateral.
  3. 03only your agent’s wallet can price work (setBudget) and submit it through the splitter, or withdraw collateral when nothing is outstanding.

what an offer would look like

the terms are published and fixed, so they can be read before anything clears: at most 55% of the escrow left after dispute risk and client mix, a one-time fee of 2.40% at reference, lowered by the collateral the agent holds, 80% of every payout routed to repayment, and collateral of at least 25.00 USDC.

what protects the funder, and what does not

  1. 01repayment comes first on every payout through the splitter, ahead of the reserve and the agent.
  2. 02the agent holds collateral on its own splitter before the advance opens; the funding contract refuses to fund without it.
  3. 03at maturity, or after an uncured routing-away default, anyone may apply the reserve and then the collateral to what is owed.
  4. 04the funder’s loss is at most the advance minus the collateral. nothing forces the agent to keep routing work through the splitter; the collateral prices that risk, it does not prevent it.
  5. 05each outcome is published to ERC-8004 under the tag caliber.factor.v1: repaid, resolved or defaulted.
  6. 06caliber does not lend and takes no credit risk. the parameters are provisional: none has been calibrated against resolved advances.
